Production Update #005: Nothing But Grief!!
Hi Backers,
Whilst the awesome crew at Munky King put together the physical perks and ship them out we here at Tiny Giants continue to produce the short film.
It's been a long time since our last update and we just wanted to let you know that we're still working on the film - over the last several months we've been looking into production partners to help bring the film to fruition. It's been a long process but we're finally making progress with an exceptional studio that will realise the epic scope of the film that we have.
We're hoping that as September comes around there will be more regular updates to show you guys what is happening with the movie, the various stages of look development and design as well as posting some final renders and animation passes.
Over the next few weeks we'll post a couple of clips from the animatic of the movie now that it has a temp soundtrack, hopefully you'll be able to see what paintings of Luke's we've been inspired by as well as what painting's we're incorporating.
The above art is a mood panel we made for the film but ultimately went in a different direction for the scene. This as well as other production artwork will be available in the 'Art Of Grief Encounters'.
A quick note about digital perks - because the majority of them are actually made from the short film we require the short film to be completed before we can put everything together. Of course if there's anyway of getting them out beforehand we'll do that too.
